North Beach Park is a beautiful beach with clear bottom water on Lake Champlain. It is one of the more popular beachs in Vermont and features lifeguards and a beach bathroom. This is a very popular location with locals in the summer, so keep in mind that it can get busy. The beach includes picnic posts, a playground, and the option to rent canoes or kayaks to take on the lake. It is a family-friendly environment for a relaxed beach day.

North Beach is located in Burlington, VT 05401, and doesn't have a formal address but can be found through Google Maps. This beach is super close to most Burlington attractions and is the perfect beach to visit if you want to enjoy the small city attractions.

The best accommodation in the area is the Shelburne Farm Inn. This is a great hotel if you want to spend time unwinding and enjoying the farm grounds. It is also a historic site! If you are more into luxury vibes then the best hotel for you is Hilton Burlington Lake Champlain for beautiful views of the lake. The rooms are very modern and they have common accommodations.

Burlington has a great variety of restaurants to attract adventurous tourists. If you want to come right off the beach to a restaurant check out restaurant Shanty On The Shore located right on the beach. They specialize in seafood and have a great variety. If you want to have dinner in the City check out Honey Road for amazing Medertain food at a trendy location. Picky eaters should visit The Farmhouse Tap and Grill for American food that is served with local ingredients.

Noteworthybeaches Reviews:

"This quite long beach stretches for about a mile in NE Burlington. We could access it directly from our North Shore RV park. The beach is quite well maintained and clean. The drop-off is about 100 yards from shore making it safer for kids to swim. Clean water. Gorgeous view of the Adirondacks to the west."

"I am used to swimming in the ocean and I have not had great experiences swimming in lakes or ponds. This was great! Sandy beach, gentle waves and as warm as a bathtub. They also have lots of shade from the trees and everyone really spreads out so you have your own little paradise. The view of the mountains over the water was spectacular. I would recommend bringing a float and parking in the lot ($8 per day)."

"Wide sand beaches, beautiful Lake Champlain shoreline, with al fresco dining restaurant for refreshment make North Beach park a great option for Burlington leisure time. The park is traversed by a bike path giving excellent access to extend you exploration of the Burlington Lake Champlain to the north or the south."
