Chatham Lighthouse Beach sandy shores are located in Chatham. Along with its iconic lighthouse, visitors can explore the expansive shorelines or even watch the seals. As the current and tides can be rough, certain areas are closed to the public. There is still enough to make you want to keep coming back though. With the beautiful Old Harbor Inn and Chatham Inn are all within walking distance of the beach. They also have a very vibrant food scene with a little of something for everyone. Including the Impudent Oyster, Bluefins Sushi & Sake Bar, and Del Mar Bar & Bistro. With a little of something for everyone, we hope this can help you plan your next beach vacation. Don't believe us!? Here are some reviews from happy patrons. The beach is located on 30 Main Street, Chatham, Massachusetts.
Vitaly Ivanov - “Such a great place!!!
People are walking and smiling
Parking spots are limited but you can always find one
Be ready to walk barefoot
Bathrooms are available
Windy, and a bit exhausting if you plan to go far, especially if you are with the kids because they will not be able to make a 30 min walk on a sandy beach”.
Andrew Moscaritolo - “Incredibly expansive beach with beautiful dunes. The ecology of the area is very interesting. Deals can be seen in the summer Sunbathing on the sand bars and swimming offshore. Paths lead down to the beach from the lighthouse and parking area Complete with Historical plaques explaining the important events that have happened in this historical Cape Cod town. There are portable restrooms but no dogs allowed on the beach”.
