Crane beach is located in beautiful Ipswich. With more than 1,200 acres to explore, there is something new to check out each time you come back. Crane beach is also home to the beautiful, nearly extinct piping plover. So be careful to keep an eye out for the birds or their homes and stay clear of them. With options to stay very close to the beach with The Cove at Rockport and Beauport Hotel in Gloucester. Along with many food options near the beach including Choate Bridge Pub, Ithaki Modern Mediterranean, and 1640 Hart House. It is a no-brainer to book your trip as soon as possible. Crane beach is located at 310 Argilla Road, Ipswich, Massachusetts. If the beautiful scenery is not enough to make you want to visit, these reviews will surely entice you.

Margaret Collins - “Trustees keep this 4 mile long beach spotlessly clean, from the shore to the recently rebuilt bathhouse. Absolutely gorgeous with soft white sand and a shallow enough slope that no matter the tide, kids can always play in the water. Many dune trails (stay on marked paths). Lifeguards are only on one (large) section, distributed every few hundred feet. Dogs and horses allowed in the off season” .

Ian Davis - “Certainly one of the most beautiful beaches in the state…would highly recommend checking out the gorgeous dune trails which provide breathtaking views of the Atlantic as well as Essex bay”.
