York Harbor Beach is located in York, Maine, in a cove just off of York Street. While this isn't the biggest beach in Maine, the light sands and calm waters more than make up for it. The best time to go is when the tide is going out, as a lot of the beach is overtaken by water at high tide. While you're there, make sure to check out the Nubble Lighthouse on Cape Neddick, and walk around to visit all of the shops and boutiques in the area. If walks with a view is something you like to do, the Cliff Walk is an excellent option to walk up the coast with a great view of York Harbor.
Where To Stay
If you're looking to stay in the area, two hotels just down the road are Union Bluff Hotel (https://unionbluff.com/) and Anchorage Inn (https://www.anchorageinn.com/). Both hotels offer breathtaking views of the ocean and are also close to other beaches in the area, so you could check out every beach in York while you're there!
Where To Eat
A must for the ultimate York vacation is getting an ice cream at Dunne's Ice Cream near Cape Neddick and the Nubble Lighthouse. Whether you're staying at the Union Bluff Hotel or not, this staple of a seafood restaurant is right by the water, has a raw bar, and serves local craft beers.
